*Up to two persons (the holder of a physical or mental disability certificate, Milairo ID, or A-bomb Survivor Health Certificate and one caregiver) may board at half the of a regular fare or half of the elementary school student fare.

* Adults for the "Sarushima Park Entrance Fee" refer to those 15 years of age or older, excluding junior high school students.

Access

Approximately 15 minutes walk from Yokosuka Chuo Station on the Keikyu Line

Paid parking is available nearby.

Mikasa Park Parking Lot ( Car navigation input address: 27-10 Ogawa-cho, Yokosuka City:よこすかし おがわちょう27-10 )

*Please use the above address, not the phone number, when entering the car navigation system. (Please note that if you enter a phone number, it will be set to a different location.)

*When visiting by car, some customers go to the seaside of Mikasa Terminal. Please note that the road along the seaside is a dead end and cannot be entered. Please be careful.

*Please purchase tickets at Mikasa Terminal/Sarushima Visitor Center (right in front of the boarding area).

By train

15 minutes walk from Yokosuka Chuo Station on Keikyu Line

Directions from Yokosuka Chuo Station on the Keikyu Line to Mikasa Terminal / Sarushima Visitor Center

1. Get off at Keikyu Yokosuka Chuo Station

Get off at the "East Exit" of Yokosuka Chuo Station and go straight on the "Y Deck" in front of the station.

2. Proceed to the "Y deck" in front of the building

Walk towards the front building (THE PRIME).

3. Go down the stairs at the left end of the Y deck

Go down the stairs at the back left and go straight down the main street of Yokosuka Chuo.

4. Turn right at the intersection of Shonan Shinkin Bank

There is a "Family Mart" on this street.

5. Cross Route 16 in front of Yokosuka Post Office and turn left

Cross Route 16 in front of the post office and go left (on the right is City Hall Park).

6. Cross the "Ogawa-cho" intersection and go straight

Cross the Ogawa-machi intersection so that your back is to Yokosuka City Hall and the direction is to the right. Walk straight and turn left at "トモエ堂:Tomoedo" below the apartments, and you will see the brick building of "三笠ターミナル:Mikasa Terminal " (it takes about 15 minutes from Yokosuka Chuo Station to this point).

By car

10 minutes from Yokosuka I.C. on the Yokohama-Yokosuka Road via Hochou Yamanaka Road

City Hall North Exit Parking

*At the City Hall North Exit Parking Lot in Yokosuka, present your parking ticket when you purchase a ticket for the Sarushima Ferry at the Mikasa Terminal and receive a 200 yen discount on the parking fee.(Available only during Mikasa Terminal business hours [9:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. (*until 4:30 p.m. from Oct. 1 to Feb. 28)]) For more information, please click .here. *Please present your stub from the Sarushima Ferry to the attendant or receptionist at the parking lot "Pipo 320" in front of Yokosuka City Hall and receive a 400 yen discount ticket (day ticket stubs only, limited to 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.).

Precautions

▼About Sarushima

  • ●Sarushima BBQ" is open all year round while the route is in operation.
  • ●When visiting by car, some customers go to the seaside of the ticketing office. Please note that the road along the seaside is a dead end. Please use the parking lot near the Mikasa Terminal. There.

▼ About the Ship

  • ● Service may be cancelled due to weather conditions.
  • ● Boarding tickets can only be refunded on the same day before the ticket stub is cut off.

▼ Prohibitions

  • ● You cannot stay overnight on Sarushima Island.
  • ● According to Yokosuka City ordinances, no pleasure boats or other vessels are allowed to land on Sarushima.
  • ● Drones are prohibited in Sarushima Park.
  • ● BBQ stoves, cassette stoves, charcoal, igniters, gas burners, etc. are not allowed on Sarushima Island.
  • ● Fireworks and other dangerous games are prohibited on Sarushima.
  • ● Pets are not allowed on Monkey Island (except service dogs and guide dogs).
  • ● Tide-pooling, seaweed and shellfish gathering are prohibited.
  • ● According to Yokosuka City's "Sarushima Park Management Guidelines," the following activities are prohibited without permission.
    ・Participant-oriented photo shoots
    ・Partial occupancy of the park
    ・Installation and use of sound equipment (DJ booth, etc.)
    ・Swimming during the off-beach season
    ・Grills that use fuel (charcoal, gas, etc.) or bring in fuel (charcoal, gas, etc.)
